Gabrielle Malina

Gabrielle Malina’s primary role is to keep our clients connected with the policy makers who can make life- and business-changing decisions. Her prior work in the Vermont General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Council and in the Executive Branch brings added insight as she advises clients on the inner workings, structure, and processes of the legislature and state government.

Gabrielle leads GAPA’s nonprofit management branch, providing leadership and administrative services to nonprofit organizations. As Executive Director, Gabrielle leads communications campaigns, helps build databases, administers grants, drafts budgets, writes impact reports, organizes bookkeeping and other key services, and generally assists boards to stay on track with their mission, core activities, and budgeting. Gabrielle currently directs nonprofits in the energy and higher education sectors.

Gabrielle enjoys participating in citizen democracy, and currently serves on her town’s Development Review Board. She recently joined the board of Good Samaritan Haven, a Central Vermont nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to people experiencing homelessness. She was previously a board member of the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District, a steering member of the Planning Commission, and Chair of the East Montpelier Revolving Loan Advisory Committee. She is also an avid gardener and a voracious reader of contemporary fiction.
