Alison Sherman

Alison counsels clients on all trust and estate planning matters. She is adept at simplifying the process, providing a laser focus on important issues, and ensuring the plan operates efficiently, based on her client’s unique circumstances. She supports and guides families through the estate, probate and trust administrative processes after the death of a loved one. In addition, she engages with her clients to accomplish their sophisticated estate planning needs, including the implementation of tax, charitable giving, asset protection, and wealth preservation strategies for high net worth individuals, families and business owners. As a member of the Business Law Group, she also assists with a variety of corporate and real estate transactions, particularly with regard to family limited liability company and business succession planning matters. She has exclusively practiced in the estate planning field since graduating from law school in 2014. Alison grew up in Lamoille County, Vermont and currently lives in Essex. While based in DRM’s Burlington office, she often travels to our Lebanon, New Hampshire and St. Johnsbury offices to meet with clients.
