Attorney Joshua D. Leckey has been named a director of the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC. He was elected at the firm’s year-end meeting on December 16, 2021 and became a director on January 1, 2022. Leckey practices out of the firm’s Burlington, VT office.

Josh Leckey joined DRM in September 2014 as an associate in the energy and telecommunications practice group. Josh focuses his practice primarily on renewable energy projects and helped secure siting approval for Vermont’s largest solar facility – a 20 MW ground-mounted array in Ludlow, Vermont. He is also a skilled negotiator and transactional attorney, having navigated several energy clients through financings and acquisitions, as well as long-term power purchase agreements. Josh regularly presents at conferences on renewable energy and is a member of the Hinesburg Energy Committee. He is a graduate of Vermont Law School and lives in Hinesburg with his wife and three children.
