Vermont Governor Phil Scott has just created a new 14-member commission: the Commission on the Future of Vermont Agriculture. The commission’s mandate is to strategize how to grow the agriculture business in Vermont. The commission will include members of the public representing the sectors of: beverages, dairy, maple, meat, produce, value-added food, retail/marketing/distribution, and land use/conservation. Here is the governor’s Executive Order creating the commission.
