(Montpelier, Vt.) Downs Rachlin Martin is pleased to announce that Patti Komline, Gabrielle Malina and Andrew Brewer are joining the DRM Government and Public Affairs group.

Komline served as a legislator in the Vermont House of Representatives for twelve years and was a member on several standing committees during her tenure, including the Judiciary, Health Care, and Ways and Means committees. She also successfully directed two lieutenant governor campaigns for Gov. Phil Scott.

After a rewarding legislative career, Patti formed Komline Consulting, a government and community relations firm. Gabrielle Malina joined Komline Consulting 2017. Malina is a former staff member for the Vermont legislature and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Vermont. Andrew Brewer joined Komline Consulting in January. Brewer has deep roots in Montpelier as the former owner of an outdoor sporting goods store and is a member of many civic organizations.

Komline Consulting has represented numerous clients in successful lobbying efforts in the areas of gun violence prevention, education, utilities, environment and economic development.

“Patti and her team add deep and diverse experience to the firm’s government affairs practice and will be an important addition our team,” said John Hollar, director of the DRM Governmental Affairs Group.

“We are excited to bring together our team’s passion for client advocacy with the resources, deep bench of talent and legal expertise, and reputation of DRM,” said Komline.

DRM’s government affairs group is one of the largest lobbying and public affairs practices in Vermont.
