Attorney Zachary Heier has joined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC (DRM).
Before joining DRM, Zak was an Assistant Attorney General with the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office working in the Natural Resources & Native American Affairs Division, primarily representing the Department of Mineral Resources in enforcement proceedings and civil actions.

Zak attended the University of Vermont and North Dakota School of Law. Prior to his time with the North Dakota Attorney General, he was a Law Clerk for Harbott, Knutson, Larson & Holten, P.L.L.P. in Minnesota. Originally from New England, he is excited to be back in Vermont. Zak is based in DRM’s Burlington office.
