Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC (DRM) is pleased to announce that Attorney Alison Sherman has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) for the state of Vermont.

ACTEC is the premier trust and estate planning fellowship in the United States, comprised of approximately 2,400 trust and estate lawyers and law professors from all 50 states as well as 16 countries.  ACTEC Fellows are true leaders in the field of trust and estate planning, having demonstrated the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence, and experience as trust and estate counselors.  Fellows are selected through a rigorous peer review process, making this recognition one of the highest honors in the trust and estate practice area.

Alison is a Director with the firm, and has practiced in the area of trusts and estates law for 11 years, with a focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration.  She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.  As a Vermont ACTEC Fellow, Alison joins an exceptional group of attorneys who demonstrate the highest level of knowledge, experience, and professional skills in the practice of trust and estate law.
