Julia G. Higa

Julia Higa provides paralegal support to the firm’s Business Law practice, assisting attorneys and clients with a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. She prepares organizational documents for limited liability companies and corporations, supports business formations, conducts legal research, assists with due diligence and business and real estate closings, and manages business registrations with the Vermont Secretary of State. Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills help keep transactions moving efficiently while ensuring clients’ corporate records and filings are handled accurately.

Julia also supports the firm’s Captive Insurance practice, assisting with all aspects of captive insurers’ operations, including licensing, initial capitalization, corporate governance matters, and maintaining corporate books and records. Drawing on her experience in the legal industry, business law, and international relations, she helps streamline complex legal and administrative processes while providing responsive support to attorneys and clients throughout the lifecycle of their business and captive insurance matters.

Outside of the office you’ll find Julia hiking and taking long walks, or at the movies and the drive-in in the summer. She also enjoys acrylic painting.
