On Thursday, October 10, 2019, the Vermont federal court issued its Final Judgment Order of $3,251,249.87 in the case of Mansfield Heliflight v. Freestream, in favor of DRM’s client, Mansfield Heliflight.
Hired only three months before trial, attorneys Jennifer McDonald and Walter Judge obtained a jury verdict following a five-day trial in July. The case involved allegations of fraud and tortious interference against the Defendant concerning the purchase and sale of a Gulfstream corporate jet. The verdict included both compensatory and punitive damages against the Defendant. This week’s Final Judgment Order preserved the verdict on compensatory and punitive damages and awarded costs to DRM’s client. The Defendant was represented by an international litigation firm.
