Local Opinion Supports Fast Track for Winstanley Solar Project

Winstanley Enterprises requests an expedited permitting process for a proposed 2-megawatt solar installation in Brattleboro, Vermont.

In an application to the Vermont Public Service Board, Downs Rachlin Martin's energy attorney wrote: “The project will help the state of Vermont and the town of Brattleboro meet its renewable energy goals. The public interest is furthered by a more efficient processing of this petition through a section 248(j) review.”

In this opinion piece, the Brattleboro Reformer newspaper explains and supports the shortened review process.
