Rising Tide Towers Plans Averill, VT Balloon Test for July 19, 2019 - CONFIRMED

Rising Tide Towers, LLC (“RTT”), a wireless infrastructure provider, together with Wireless Partners FN, LLC (“WP”, together referred to hereinafter as “Rising Tide”) proposes to install a lattice telecommunications tower measuring 190’ on property (with lighting rod extending to 195’) located off Forest Lake Road in Averill, Vermont on property owned by Peter Einselen, as stated in the Advance Notice dated July 10, 2019.

The purpose of the Project is for Rising Tide to construct a new tower facility in order to support wireless telecommunications antennas and equipment owned and operated by WP. New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC d/b/a AT&T (“AT&T”) and WP have entered into an arrangement whereby WP will provide AT&T with access to its network facilities, including the proposed Project, in order for AT&T to expand its network in sections of northeastern Vermont. The result will be the introduction of AT&T commercial service for residents and visitors to Averill, along with FirstNet capabilities for area first responders.

At the present time, a balloon test is planned for Friday, July 19, 2019 from 8am to noon, with a backup date of Friday, July 26 from 8am to noon. A balloon will be flown at a height of 190’ in order to produce photo simulations documenting the project’s visibility. The time period may be shortened or lengthened depending on weather conditions.

Photographic simulations of the tower will be available for viewing, together with a viewshed analysis, during the 60-day advance notice period, and prior to submission of the certificate of public good petition.
