AT&T Balloon Test: Hardwick - CANCELLED
New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC d/b/a AT&T (“AT&T”) had proposed to construct and install a new communications support structure and wireless communications facility (as described below, the “Facility” or “Project”) on property located at 283 Cooper Brook Drive, Hardwick, Vermont (the “Property” or “Site”). Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC (“DRM”) represents AT&T in connection with the Project. On Wednesday, December 9, 2020, AT&T filed a motion to dismiss its petition on account of public opposition. Accordingly, the balloon test tentatively rescheduled for December 12 or 13 has been cancelled.
THE BALLOON TEST SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 5 / 6, 2020 HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. To assess the visual effects of the Project, AT&T will schedule a balloon test at the site of the proposed Site for between 9:00am–1:00pm. The balloon will be flown to a height of 184’ feet and will be photographed from public areas in Town. Due to the variable weather conditions in Vermont that can affect the balloon test, the test is being tentatively rescheduled for the following weekend (i.e., December 12 or 13), with confirmation to follow once suitable weather conditions can be confirmed. Please continue to visit this website for up-to-date details regarding the test or check with municipal/regional planners for additional information.
