Patent Attorney Taylor Hallowell has joined the northern New England law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC.
Before joining DRM, Taylor was practicing as an Intellectual Property Associate with a firm in Wilmington, Delaware, focusing on patent litigation in the field of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. She also gained experience in patent prosecution working at an IP boutique firm in Maryland.
“We are delighted to welcome Taylor back to Vermont and are looking forward to her contributions to our practice,” said Cathy Stadecker, Chair of DRM’s Intellectual Property Group. “Her prior experience with patent litigation, and enthusiasm for building a patent prosecution practice, makes her an invaluable addition to DRM and our team.”
Taylor is a 2021 graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she served as the Executive Articles and Symposium Editor of the Maryland Law Review and received several honors, including winning the Best Brief Award and being a co-winner of Maryland Law’s moot court competition. Taylor is also a 2017 graduate of Amherst College, where she earned a B.A. in biology. She is a native of Chittenden County and attended Essex High School. Taylor is based in DRM’s Burlington office.
