Attorney Andrew D. Mikell has joined Downs Rachlin Martin as Of Counsel and will practice from the firm’s Burlington, Vermont office. Mikell brings with him significant experience with Vermont real estate law, deepening the firm’s capabilities in serving commercial real estate developers, buyers and sellers of property, common interest community associations, commercial lenders, and clients involved in litigation.
Prior to joining DRM, Mikell served as Senior Vice President, State Manager and Title Counsel for CATIC’s Vermont operations. He is active in the Vermont Bar Association, having served on its Real Property and Title Standards Committees for more than twenty five years.
“We’re tremendously excited that Andy has chosen to work with DRM,” said Tim Sampson, Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Law Group. “Andy is a recognized leader in our field of practice, having served as title counsel and having run CATIC’s Vermont operation for the past 25 years. Andy brings unparalleled experience to our team and to the clients we have the privilege to serve.”
Mikell’s move to DRM bolsters the firm’s commercial real estate transactions and development practice, as well as its litigation and common interest communities practices.
