Anatomy of a Data Breach
What’s your company’s plan of action when a data breach occurs?
Your company has been compromised by a spearphishing attack, or by ransomware. What do you do next? In this workshop, organized by Vermont’s Office of the Attorney General, experts in law enforcement, cybersecurity, legal affairs, cyber insurance and public relations go step-by-step through a data breach scenario at a mid-size Vermont company and explain how to respond.
This mock data breach scenario will be moderated by Attorney General T.J. Donovan, and will include a wide variety of panelists, including DRM’s data security attorney Matt Borick. You’ll learn what to do at each stage of a breach: pre-detection, detection, investigation, reporting, communication, etc.
