Harassment Prevention & Building Civility in the Workplace

Breakfast Briefing

Incidents of workplace harassment are making headlines again and again. This has led to renewed attention on workplace cultures and efforts to continue to make workplaces free of harassing behavior and to create cultures that have higher and more sustainable levels of civility.

David Harlow and Sophie Duffy of the Labor & Employment Group at DRM and Ross Gibson of The Richards Group are teaming up to facilitate a discussion about harassment prevention and building workplace civility with business leaders in Southern Vermont. We'll discuss:

  • Civility: what it is, why it is important and what employers can do to ensure that people are civil at work;
  • The latest legal developments regarding workplace harassment, and
  • Steps employers must take to ensure that they have a workplace free of harassing behavior.

This seminar has been approved for 2 SHRM professional development credits.
