Champlain Cyber Awareness Conference

Data Security Attorney Matt Borick set to be panelist at cyber awareness conference

Recent national and local events have elevated the importance of cybersecurity for organizations of all sizes. What are today's threats and how should you respond when targeted?

Join Champlain College and the Leahy Center for Digital Investigation for a free, one-day conference outlining key current cyber threats, as well as tactics any organization could use to prepare and respond to those threats. Experts in the field will provide guidance on security best practices for defense, response, and recovery. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversations about real-life scenarios and lessons learned from organizations in the region.

The program features guest speakers and panelists from industry, academia, and government agencies. Technical and strategic sessions offered throughout the day include:

  • Defense strategies for small and medium organizations
  • Ransomware and emerging threats
  • Technical and non-technical breakout sessions
  • How to get help in a resource-constrained environment
