(Burlington, Vt.) Walter E. Judge, a litigation attorney and director at Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC, recently joined the International Association of Defense Counsel. Established in 1920, the IADC serves approximately 2500 invitation-only, peer-reviewed member attorneys with advanced skills and practice representing corporations and insurers in defense law.
The IADC takes a leadership role in many areas of legal reform and professional development and publishes the quarterly Defense Counsel Journal, a nationally respected publication that focuses on topical and scholarly legal issues involving substantive law, procedures and trial techniques.
Judge, who joined DRM in 1992, focuses in the areas of business and commercial litigation; intellectual property, internet and technology law, and related insurance coverage disputes; and products liability disputes. An adjunct professor at Vermont Law School, Judge teaches the trade secrets section in an introduction to intellectual property law course. He also serves as an advisory member of the Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association, an affiliate organization of the Defense Research Institute.
