Downs Rachlin Martin Celebrates Fifth Year in Upper Valley

Downs Rachlin Martin recently completed its fifth year in the Upper Valley since DRM welcomed attorneys from Daschbach, Csatari & Young, PLLC on August 1, 2007. The firm quietly marked the milestone this past weekend as it teamed up with the Harpoon Brewery in Windsor as the lead sponsor of the annual Harpoon Octoberfest Road Race on Sunday.

Granite United Way – Upper Valley Recognizes Campaign Cabinet, Fundraising Success

Peter Van Oot, a director at the law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC, was among those recognized for service on the 2011 Granite United Way – Upper Valley Region Campaign Cabinet when Upper Valley business, not for profit and community leaders gathered at the Montshire Museum of Science on March 29 to commemorate the Granite United Way – Upper Valley Region’s year of successful partnerships and to celebrate the announcement of the region’s 2011 campaign fundraising total: $1.05 million.

Upper Valley Attorneys Join Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC

(Lebanon) Prominent local attorneys Wilhelmina Dingemans Miller and Elizabeth K. Rattigan have joined the offices of the northern New England law firm of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC. The two women have become directors of the firm and both will work from DRM’s Lebanon Office.

DRM Team Volunteers at Upper Valley Haven

Attorneys and staff from the Lebanon, St. Johnsbury and Burlington offices of the law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC spent a day volunteering at the Upper Valley Haven in White River Junction on Monday, Oct. 10, under the watchful direction of Volunteer Coordinator Laura Shelton and Gardening Coordinator Jane Metcalf. The work day was part of the law firm’s ongoing, multi-faceted response to flood relief efforts in Vermont and other affected areas in which the firm has offices. The Haven is helping to feed and find housing solutions for Upper Valley flood victims.

DRM Sponsors Harpoon Race to Benefit Norris Cotton Cancer Center

(WINDSOR) Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC is the presenting sponsor of Harpoon Brewery’s Octoberfest Race, which will be held Sunday, October 9 in Windsor, Vt. The race begins at 11 a.m., and the gates for Harpoon Octoberfest VT will open to the public at noon. Proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center to support cancer research and patient care at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

DRM Attorney Peter Van Oot Transitions Practice to Upper Valley

(LEBANON, N.H.) Attorney Peter D. Van Oot of the northern New England law firm of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC has moved to the Upper Valley and will continue his land use, environmental and corporate law practice primarily from the firm’s Lebanon office. Van Oot will continue to work part-time in the firm’s Brattleboro office and will be available to the firm’s southern Vermont clients in Brattleboro whenever needed going forward.

Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC Opens Second New Hampshire Office

(Lebanon, N.H.) The full service regional law firm of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC (DRM) has opened its second New Hampshire office and seventh office overall at 8 South Park Street in Lebanon, N.H. Overlooking Colburn Park in the City of Lebanon’s historic district, the offices formerly occupied by the firm of Daschbach, Csatari and Young, PLLC (DCY), along with all of DCY’s attorneys and staff, have been integrated into DRM. The combination of practices was completed August 1.
