Morgan S. Heller II Chosen As New Director At Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC

Burlington) Morgan S. Heller II has been elected as a director of the law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC. Heller, a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group working in the firm's Burlington office, was elected during the firm's annual meeting in December. As a director, Heller will share in the management of the firm.

"Morgan's background in engineering and experience in patent law have become critical elements of our service to clients in the intellectual property area," said John H. Marshall, chief executive officer and managing partner at DRM. "His quiet leadership has contributed to steady growth in our IP practice over the past six years, and he is now ready to take the next step in this career.


Heller is a licensed professional engineer and worked for seven years in industry prior to becoming a patent attorney. He graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University, earned a master of science degree in robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, and was awarded a juris doctorate in intellectual property law at Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he was also a senior editor of IDEA: The Journal of Law and Technology. After law school and prior to joining DRM, he was an associate with the Philadelphia law firm of Seidel, Gonda, Lavorgna & Monaco, P.C. He was previously associated with Panitch Schwarze Jacobs & Nadel, P.C., also in Philadelphia.
