(BURLINGTON) Burlington attorneys Robert B. Luce and Marc B. Heath of the law firm Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC have been selected as fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America. LCA is a highly selective, invitation-only trial lawyer honor society that recognizes superior ethical reputation as well as effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels. The organization’s membership represents less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Luce chairs DRM’s Litigation Practice Group. As a practicing attorney for three decades, he has managed numerous complex commercial litigation cases in federal and state courts. He has represented brain and spinal cord injury victims and their families for more than 15 years and is a founding board member of the Vermont Brain Injury Association. Luce is a 1979 graduate of Boston University Law School
Heath has conducted more than 65 jury trials to verdict involving complex construction and product liability cases, premises and auto liability claims, construction contract disputes and commercial development appeals. A former chair of DRM’s Litigation Practice Group, Heath currently serves as the firm’s marketing director. He received his law degree from Catholic University of America in 1981.
