Patent Preparation and Prosecution Services

Every year, DRM prepares, prosecutes and maintains hundreds of patent applications and patents in the U.S. and abroad. Our services include:

• Strategic advising with regard to patent protection in the U.S. and abroad.
• Preparing patent applications.
• Filing and prosecuting patent applications in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Filing international patent applications in the relevant offices of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
• Filing and prosecuting patent applications in foreign patent offices using our worldwide network of foreign patent associates.
• Maintaining U.S. and foreign patents and applications.
• Acting as a U.S. “foreign” associate for clients based outside the U.S. for purposes of filing, prosecuting and maintaining U.S. patent documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Assisting clients in developing and implementing invention disclosure programs to make the patenting process more efficient and effective.
