Business Law
DRM’s Acquisitions & Development (A&D) team assists clients in analyzing acquisition opportunities, executing the transactions that pass muster and developing the full value that the acquisition holds.
Our approach to a transaction is driven by our client’s goal in an acquisition - to acquire and run a business, not to create closing documents.
Among our clients is the world's largest wireless communications infrastructure management company. The A&D team has assisted this client in acquiring nearly 10,000 assets located in more than 20 states. We developed an understanding of the client's valuation methodology, closing requirements and operational needs. Then we abstracted critical information into databases that facilitated our client's bidding, closing, recording and operational processes. The database has become a tool for operating the business - a device that has utility long after the transaction is completed.
The capability we have developed has application in many industries - from retail businesses to public utilities - who acquire, integrate and maintain large portfolios of assets focusing on consent, leasing and title matters. These processes can assist clients in understanding franchisees' operations, evaluating leases of retail locations, and managing other types of assets.
Focused on the client’s objectives, we:
DRM’s A&D team provides excellent value and significant cost savings for our clients by combining the rate structure of a mid-size law firm with reliance on trained paraprofessionals for significant parts of a project.
