Professional Focus


Janet St.Pierre brings more than two decades of experience as a legal assistant to her current position as a trusts and estates and probate paralegal. In this capacity, Jan assists the executor, administrator and/or trustee or guardian in administering all aspects of the estate, trust or guardianship. She prepares all required estate, trust and guardianship documents and forms, including accountings. Working closely with an attorney, Jan assists in drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney for property and advance directives for healthcare.

In addition to providing skilled legal assistance, Jan is a practiced and compassionate listener. She patiently and meticulously helps clients through the details and paperwork that are involved in estate planning; probate, trust and guardianship administration; making changes to documents; and settling estates.

Professional Activities


Jan graduated magna cum laude from Champlain College with an associate degree in secretarial science and has worked at law firms for more than three decades. She worked for Daschbach, Csatari & Young, PLLC and its predecessor for 19 years before DCY joined with DRM in 2007.

Community Involvement


Jan is a present member and former secretary of the American Legion Auxiliary, Guyer-Carignan Post 22 and, since 1998, she has volunteered with Good Beginnings of the Upper Valley, an organization that provides assistance to families with new babies. Jan is past regent of Catholic Daughters of America and a former council member of Sacred Heart Church.
