Laura Bezio is a paralegal in the firm’s Brattleboro office. A member of the Litigation Group, she assists with trial preparation and file management She is also involved in real estate and corporate/commercial law areas. Laura has assisted attorneys with the sale of land located in southern Vermont developments. She performs title work as well as researching information relating to various companies. She also works with clients to set up Vermont corporations and obtain tax identification numbers. Additionally, she works in the insurance defense area obtaining medical records, personnel files and interviewing witnesses. Laura joined the firm in 1996.
Professional Activities
Before working as a paralegal, Laura was a file clerk. Her duties included maintaining the file for a large Superfund case. She maintained this file and assisted with trial preparation and management for the duration of the three-month trial.
Community Involvement
Laura is a volunteer at the YMCA in Greenfield. She was awarded one of the organization’s Volunteer of the Year awards for 2007.
