Joseph F. Daschbach is an accomplished trial lawyer, who has tried cases in New Hampshire state and federal courts since 1968 and more recently in Vermont. Joe has represented injured persons and/or their survivors in cases involving brain injury, serious and permanent bodily injury, wrongful death and death. He has litigated matters in the New Hampshire Probate Courts including will contests and suits to remove executors, trustees and guardians for breach of their fiduciary duties.
Joe earned certification as a civil trial lawyer from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, whose standards require a substantial number of trials to verdict in jury cases and in trials and hearings before judges, as well as recommendations of opposing counsel and of trial judges before whom he has appeared.
Trained and certified by the New Hampshire Superior Court for service in that Court's alternative dispute resolution program, he has been engaged as an arbitrator and mediator since 1990. He is an active member of the New Hampshire Superior Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel and also serves on the panel of the National Arbitration Forum.
Professional Activities
Joe served as a New Hampshire District Court Judge for 25 years. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi, the oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the United States and the premier legal fraternity in North America. For many years he has received Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® peer rating, the highest rating attainable.
Community Involvement
Joe has served as president and trustee of Lebanon College, as director of Dartmouth National Bank and as board chair of United Developmental Services.
