Practice Focus

Elizabeth Wohl is an associate in DRM’s Litigation Practice Group, with a focus on environmental and insurance coverage litigation.  Elizabeth came to DRM after  serving for one year as a law clerk to Vermont Supreme Court Justice Marilyn S. Skoglund. Before that, she served a one-year term as law clerk to Honorable William F. Downes in the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. During law school, she interned with the Vermont Supreme Court, the District Court for the Fifth Judicial District’s Honorable Hunter Patrick (Cody, Wyo.) and with another firm in Brattleboro.  As an undergraduate, she second-chaired her first trial while interning in the County  Attorney’s Office in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Professional Activities

Elizabeth graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School, where she served as an editor of Vermont Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Professor Tracy Bach’s courses in legal writing and appellate advocacy.  Her paper on comparative law and religious freedom won the 2005 Vermont Law Review Ballenger-Green Paper Competition.

Community Involvement

Elizabeth serves on the board of trustees of Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro and is helping to organize the Brattleboro chapter of Keep Kids Alive Drive 25, an organization that partners with businesses to encourage drivers to observe the speed limit in residential neighborhoods.
